For more than three decades, Giovanni Angelosanto has taken great pride in the quality of the
food that he and his family create in his kitchen. The pizza, layered with
mouthwatering ingredients, meatballs made from scratch and the signature
creations -Bacon Onion Cheese Bread, Benne Salad and the famous Giovanni Italian Sub -are from his own imagination using ingredients from local vendors.
It's not just what happens in the kitchen that makes Hometown Pizza so special, it's what happens around food that we make: the family celebrations, the children's laughter, and the memories that are made with friends.
We feel fortunate to have had so much support from the community and we thank all of the employees and customers who have helped us win the award for "Best of Detroit: Pizza" five years in a row as well as so many other local and regional awards.
